I’m in with the Brunch Crowd-Back Street Cafe

One thing Houstonian’s love is a good brunch and the options are endless. Get the friends together and enjoy a great meal in a great setting. We’ve reviewed several brunch spots and found these to be some of Houston’s favorites. Each week for the next few months, we will feature a Houston favorites brunch spot.  From the best in patio brunch to the endless mimosa and buffets, as well as the haunts that only Houstonian’s know about…we’ll cover it all.

Back Street Cafe
Served Saturday from 11 to 3 and Sunday 10 to 3
Back Street Cafe is set in a charming ’30’s River Oaks home with a fabulous patio area. Start things off with a delectable cheese plate or bacon wrapped quail. The Backstreet Benedict features a yummy jalapeno hollandaise. In addition to their unique takes on standard brunch fare, you can also enjoy a wide range of entrees. Our favorites are the Crab Cakes and Eggs, and the Crispy Pan-Seared Duck. Entree prices range from $14 to $25. They also feature a daily flavored mimosa.
